Individual Therapy
Therapy is a collaborative, caring, and compassionate experience that allows you to work through your challenges and uncover your best “self” through self-exploration, self-awareness, and self-compassion. It is a chance to quiet your inner critic and reduce shame in a safe space. Here at Hudson Counseling, PLLC we use the following evidence-based approaches to guide the journey:

-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)- used to gain new insight into behavior patterns and unhealthy patterns of thinking developed in childhood
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)- for managing intense emotions, tolerating distress, and improving communication
-
Mindfulness- for learning to live in the present moment and increase self-awareness
-
EMDR - to reprocess traumatic memories
-
Motivational Interviewing- to help you identify your motivations for change and explore internal conflicts

We understand that not every approach is right for every client, and we believe in meeting the client where they are. You are encouraged to speak to your therapist about what you need and prefer.
